In order to provide a chance for mutual communication and harmony among international students in Daejeon through sports exchanges, and also to provide the opportunity for physical education for foreign students here, “Sport Day for International Students” is held by International center in Daejeon. Through a variety of sports competitions and traditional events, the program aims to promote local patriotism for Daejeon among international students and their understanding for Korean culture.

  • Participation: International students from universities
    in Daejeon
  • Contents of event:
    • · Competitive games among different universities. (Centipede Relay, Group Jump Rope, Tug of War, Heungbu Family's Day out, Ball Pool Basketball, Giant Baton Relay, Couple Limbo, Misson Hula Hoop)
    • · Different sports competitions and traditional sports experience.
    • · Different performances and global youth activity.
  • Participating universities: Konyang University, Daejeon University, Mokwon University, Pai Chai University, Woosong University, Joongbu University, Chungnam National University, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Hannam University, Hanbat National University.
  • Event participation: A request for participation of different universities in Daejeon should be submitted through the international office in each university. For each university, the participating players should be around 100.
